Hope there will be feature allowing connection to FSX. So users can fly the route on ground to get familar and some expectation before going up.

...and X-Plane as well.

Actually X-Plane will be the easiest to interface with. It has a built-in NEMA output. FSX will need some sort of third party s/w to get a NEMA output.

Desk flying with iFly will get much more "user hours" on beta trials. Plus it is a great way to stay current and figure out the best way to use iFly for various scenarios.

How do you do this? I've never tried to connect the iFly to a simluator and don't know where to start. Thx.

Can't do it yet, the dev team will have to write iFly code that will allow the NEAM output of X-Plane to be taken into iFly. And, we will have to have a cable to interface the computer output to the iFly input. Walter said this is a low priority, but they will consider it later.

If we all think that using iFly with Fight Sims is a good idea, please cast a vote so the Dev Team can judge if it worth their time.

I'd vote for it. Foreflight is compatible with X-Plane 10. It is all done with Wi-Fi.
