You're welcome.
There is also an option on there to be invited to all local flying breifings sponsed by or given by the FAA under the WINGS PROGRAM. (another flight safety program)
I get these all the time and can maybe attend less than 10% of them as there are so many in my area between DC, NY, Philly, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Frederick, and Trenton.
I would say about about a third of the lectures are addressing the ADSB issue and the compliance "crisis" -- folks are NOT equipping in droves and general aviation is falling far behind the curve of compliance to have even 75% ready by 2020.
I am on the fence...I have ADSB IN but am waiting on OUT (yet). I do fly into and under Class B airspace routinely and am in the Mode C veil frequently. It is going to be a big deal around here. Between the MASSIVE TFRs for the President and the ADBS rullings for the Mode C veils, many in GA will see a big change in access to their airspace.
For this area, it will mean FBO's under the Mode C veils will be hurting for fuel sales and other aircraft maintenance revenue streams. I am not sure how some will survive, but that is not a priority - I digress...
Hope the FAA info helps in some way. The site also has links to information on ADSB and what they (the faa) want to happen by 2020 and beyond.
