Steps to recalibrate the iFly and STRATUX using commands on the iFly that always work for me:

-My technique - get out to the plane and turn on the STRATUX first and then the iFly so that the first thing the iFly "sees" is the STRATUX and picks up that signal. This is to be done ON THE GROUND prior to flight.

Best of luck!

Mike N714AJ, Carlisle, PA (N94 Airport)

1.  Go to the MENU page

2. Go to the SETUP page.

3. Go to the ALERTS and WARNINGS page.

4. Go to the RECALIBRATE to LEVEL page.

5. Make your selection - I usually pick STRATUX but have found BOTH work - your own results may vary. Experiment with BOTH.

6. Confirm you want to do this by hitting OK.

7. Check your horizon on the ground and obviously, with your attitude indicator on your panel.

8. Run other parts of your pre-flight checklist but come back to this to see if there is any ROLL, PITCH or DRIFT.

9. Fly it to ensure it works and there is no drift at altitude.

10. Shut it down properly.

I had the same issue Stratus AHRS

The artificial horizizon would just start to tilt and I would have to continuously recalibrate it.

It was great to have the AHRS...when it worked and I wish there was something reliable we could use with IFLY.

I returned the Stratus to Spruce for a complete refund.

If you want reliable and accurate, you should get the Astro Link.

Thanks Walter, it would be nice to have something a little more reliable....

John, did you try the technique I linked to?  I had a similar problem until I followed those directions.
