The instructions I pointed to were for Stratux, not iFly, so they would not be found in an iFly manual.

A couple of points regarding this thread...

Cobra: John was reporting an issue with Stratus, not Stratux.  Could be he typed the name in wrong and in that case your answer applies, otherwise it would not've.

John: you said "It was great to have the AHRS...when it worked and I wish there was something reliable we could use with IFLY.".  Just to state the obvious: there are other products out there that are similar to Stratus and/or Stratux and provide AHRS.  They should all work with iFly if they have a WiFi interface.

Whoops--you're right, I completely misread Stratus as Stratux.  My apologies for the confusion.

Although this might be a bit late, I don't know that iFly will calibrate Stratus.  Appareo/Stratus has their own free app, "Stratus Horizon Pro", that needs to be used to calibrate the Stratus.

When any AHRS device is attached to iFly GPS, we provide you the option to "Recalibrate to Level" and "Clear Calibration", so that iFly GPS provides a 2nd opportunity to calibrate your device, if needed.   Ideally, you calibrate the actual device; but if you can't do this, iFly GPS allows you to correct the error.
