Hi All - I'm thinking about getting an Android cell phone. I already have two Android tablets that I use iFly GPS on and I really like the app. Could anybody that has used iFly GPS on their Android phone please tell me how well the app works on their phone? Can the sectionals be zoomed large enough to read the information? Is the airport information page readable? Can the app be installed on the SD card? Or, if not, can the data and charts be stored on the SD card? Thank you sharing your experience with me. - Jim Williams

The new iFly phone layout mode is quite readable, even on the small 3.5" iPhone 4C. Many android phones have a 4" or larger screen, making it even more readable. Use "Setup => Screen Settings => Font Size" to set font size to Large or Very Large, if needed. In a bouncy plane, though, not sure how well the small screen will work for you. Sitting at home, it's quite nice, IMO.

Also, the iPhone release should be available to the public within a month.

Well, I just ordered my Android phone. When I down load sectionals on my tablets I notice that both high and low resolution down loads are available. The new phone that I'm getting has a 3.8 inch screen with a resolution of 320 x 480. Which sectional resolution should I load on this phone - high or low? Thanks, Jim Williams
