Hello, friends! I know this has been a pain point for several foks on this board, but I think we FINALLY have a solution!

Updated to version 11.1.xx (currently available on beta access, let me know if you need it)

Once you have 11.1.xx, make sure you are connected securely to the device via RS232/breakout board

*****THIS IS WHERE THINGS GENERALLY GO WRONG, PER SE.
Go to menu/about/connected devices.
WAIT FOR ABOUT A MINUTE WHILE THE DEVICE "LISTENS" FOR AN INPUT DEVICE BEFORE IT GOES TO OUTPUT MODE.

If you have the "nice" cable, found here: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=UTF8&psc=1 there will be a blue light show up when sending data. Otherwise you won't see a light until your receiving device indicates.

IT WILL ONLY SHOW DATA BEING SENT IF THERE IS A GPS LOCK OR IF YOU'RE IN SIMULATION MODE!

I have been watching this thread with interest. I can report that this is not an issue only with the TruTrack AP as I have the same issue with my Trio AP. Cycling the 740B off and on always solves the issue. After the connection is made it is rock solid; just a minor PITA to wait for the reboot to get everything going again.

I look forward to trying the upcoming update.

Best,

john

I concur that with the Trio EZ there is some issues as well..

After Menu-about and device, should we be looking in the serial port to see if our Usb to serial is showing????

I'm running with 11.0.9

I'm now seeing in device the NMEA Controller, maybe was there before but never got to that page.

sending to COM6 at 4800, and seeing an error like   "Lag Issues(25)  1325Msec." but still not recognize by the EZ Trio.

Regards

I have downloaded the Beta version successfully and when I look at the NEMA input controller the message without the USB to RS 232 cable plugged in is Sending to Com port 9600,Total MSGs,AVG MSGS etc. When I plug the cable in the messages are the same but with the added NEMA sentences I had selected in the set up section. This is with the cable still not connected to the Autopilot. When I connect it to the Autopilot it still does not see the NEMA data nor does the Dynon D10A. I have cycled it on and off as suggested by some of the forum memebers. No difference.
