I have been flying since the late 70's and was out of it for a while as my aircraft went with the divorce. Two years ago the bi-annual flight review put me back int he left seat. What was so amazing was the was the advances in GPS, glass cokpits, etc. I kept up with the technology over the years with aviation mags etc.

Upon buying another aircraft (a new understanding wife too) is was looking at all sorts of GPS hardware, Garmen, iPods, etc. The prices were just to much. At out latest EAA / Young Eagles P breakfast a pilot showed up with his iFly700. He showed me how it worked, then said how much it cost. I could not believe it! i did the research, bought one, installed a few days ago, and all I can say is WOW! Well done Walter. Here in Florida the land of MOAs and TFRs, what a great resource. I love it, thanks for a great easy to use unit.

Any idea when a weather function might be happening?

Hi John,

Thanks for the nice words! We will be demonstrating the weather feature at Oshkosh next month. Will be releasing shortly thereafter.

Thanks!
Walter
