Traffic pattern advisor

Foreflight has a new traffic pattern advisor feature. Something like that would sure be handy on the iFly.

First it provides runway extensions which iFly does. It expands that by recommending an approach based on the runway and the pattern you want to fly, (45, teardrop, midfield, etc.). It calculates the headings to fly, sequences the route and shows it on the map. It also recommends a runway based on the winds. Go to blog.foreflight.com and you can get a description.

Tom,

Good comments. We do have the concept of Recommending or Loading of Approaches. I'll give you guys on this thread a little sneak peak at our new feature coming in the V7.6, just weeks away. It's called RealView Airports. We'll hard load all airport images on the device, so there will be no in-air internet connection needed. Take a look below. Notice the WAAS GPS meter and the new Compass rose with Nav bug as well.
