MITRE and app-based IFR clearances?

Heard that FF and MITRE are testing an app-based textual clearance delivery method. Any chance iFly's going to join the party, here?

Not sure what FF has to do with that - seems like a stand alone technology anyone could play with, at this one airport...

I'm not sure, but FF is touting it. Maybe MITRE just approached them to access a pool of portable-device-using aviators who like to beta test stuff. Hmm...wonder where else they could have found such a group?
