Alright, so with a windows version in BETA, it sounds like we may be getting that soon. My subscription needs to be renewed in 26 days. Currently, I have a dedicated 740, an Android and an older iPad, all on a multi device VFR subscription. Will the Windows version be counted as one of the 3 devices allowed in the multi device subscription? I will probably drop the iPad and pick up the Windows version if this is the case. Or.... will the Windows version be a separate subscription?

Thanx,

Chris

I deleted my Android tablet from my account to make room for my Windows 10 computer. I have a Windows 10 computer, iPad, and iPhone on my multi-device iFly subscription and just renewed for another year.

We're still internally debating this question.  Currently it counts as one of your devices.

Although I currently have a multi platform subscription, it'd be nice if the Windows version was free for flight planning.  Perhaps if you disabled the GPS moving map ability, tie it to a subscription so it could download and use whatever maps your paid subscription was using.  That way it would be useless in the plane, but still be useful for planning flights.

Do we really need 4 devices on iFly GPS, especially at one time? How about AP just eliminate the restriction on how many times we can add and remove specific devices from our account? Seems to me that would solve the problem and not reduce revenue for AP.

EDIT: Make this a feature of Multi-Platform Add-On.
