Android tablets are very reasonably priced.

AP has nothing against Windows...their dedicated iFly devices (700 series) are Windows CE-based. Windows tablets were just a little late to the party, and they probably haven't felt like the user demand was quite there to justify the expenditure of resources.

In the meantime, as OP mentioned, there are a number of very reasonably-priced Android tablets available. Even if iFly was the only thing you used it for, it wouldn't be an unreasonable cost. For instance, I've been using my Nexus 7 (2013) since...well, 2013, and it's worked great for me. That model is available used on eBay for ~$100. Here's a new-in-box unit for only $130. Pretty good deal: www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-NEW-Sealed-ASU...

We are getting really close to having a Windows version for Windows Mobile, Surface, etc. I'm personally using it on a Windows 10 PC. The software is pretty much there, we are ironing out the deployment to devices and subscriptions.

suspect, barring any major delays, this will be for early 2016, hopefully in time for SnF or earlier. We are currently focused on 9.4 right now and some new device integration like the Dual XGPS 190 and Bad Elf project amoung others. It's really close now.

Thank you Shane, that is a light at the end of the tunnel, and to reply to others responders, I already have A phone and a tablet working very well, with windows softwares, (wireless and 10) and do not see the need to buy other devices, no matter how cheap they are, and beside, I am used to work with them, but I also thank you for the inputs
