I had a 50 minute flight a couple of weeks ago and instead of going direct I decided to fly from airport to airport along the way. This ended up requiring a number of turns during my flight and led to handful of false positives from my own plane. I also had a false postive on the way back during the descent I believe. Anyhow, I was wondering if it would be possible to filter out ghost traffic by using my own transponder code (I think that's included in the ADS-B stream)?

We can certainly try. Here's how you can help us to fix it. Please do this on your next similar flight.

1. Before take off - select "Menu => About => Connected Devices => Wireless Device => Enable Logger"
2. Then fly your route -- and please make note of the specific time (time since take-off) when the false Traffic Alerts happen.
3. When you land, Restart iFly, and do "Menu => About => Send Bug Report", then "Select Log" and select the "AdsbRaw.bin" file.
(NOTE: Only do this ONCE -- as iFly only keeps the LAST AdsbRaw.bin file, so if you do it again, it'll overwrite the previous log.)

(if you have an iFly device, you can just email me the "SDCard/User/#Logs/AdsbRaw.bin" file.)

From this log file, I can fully reproduce your entire flight, including the false traffic alerts, and should have a good chance of fixing the underlying issue.

Sounds good. I should be able to reproduce my previous flight fairly closely since I had created a flight plan for it.

I suggest that the option to filter out 1200 ought to be grayed out, since inadvertently filtering out your own VFR code would also filter out all the other VFR guys out there.

You don't filter out all 1200 traffic. You filter out your transponder's unique mode S code.
