I just transferred a flight plan using the data Interlink between my IPad Air 2 (Master) to my IFly 720 (Slave). The derived data (Est Time, Est Fuel, etc.) that appears in the Flight Plan window is based on the active Aircraft Profile. If the data displayed on the Master is based on a Mooney 201C's performance, it would be very different than the data on the Slave if it's active Aircraft Profile is a C-150. If the Mooney Profile is not on the Slave, then for the Slave's flight plan data to become realistic - i would need to stop, create a profile for the Mooney 201C, and then re-establish the data interlink.
Suggestion: Please enable the data interlink to identify the active aircraft profile being used in conjuction with the active flight plan. Enable the the interlink to add/update this profile on the Slave device.
It is assumed that the profile on the Master is always the most current for the active aircraft being used in the Flight Plan. If the it turns out that the Slave does have more accurate/current data in it's aircraft profile, then it is encumbant upon the pilot to update the aircraft profile on the Master before establishing the data Interlink.
