Can we get, or is there a way to quickly set up a target altitude so when reached an alarm is indicated? I really don't want to but a bug on my altimeter but I have a hard time remembering my assigned altitudes while in a climb, or descent....

Good suggestion.

In the meantime, if you have a CDI that's not in use, dial it in as your reminder:  "Maintain 3000," dial in 030.  "Climb to 9000," dial in 090.

Yep, good idea.

By the way, you can add a "Target Altitude" instrument to your screen.  It's not an alert, but would be an effective reminder.  Touch "Inst Group -> Customize -> Add Instrument -> Target Altitude".  The new instrument will drop to the middle of your screen, drag it to your desired position and click the "Save" button.
