Hi Walter.

The evolution of the iFly has been amazing. All the features that are continuously added and refined via the software updates are great, but are there any plans (long term) for a hardware revision? The PXA architecture certainly works and fits the bill, but some of the Intel Atom products (Tunnel Creek, etc...) are going to be real performers with low power consumption.

I know there is alot to changing hardware platforms (board support packages for the operating system, drivers for all the devices, and porting your software over), but someday the PXA-300 will go end of life and you'll have to change. What are your thoughts??

I for one, would jump at the chance for an excuse to buy another iFly from Adventure Pilot! I feel like I'm cheating everytime you add new features via the software updates.

Also, page 40 of the manual has a typo listing the CPU as PXZ instead of PXA.

Thanks,

A satisfied iFly user!!!!

We have our eye on the hardware ball too. We're very pleased with our current platform - it's the best quality/performance/price solution we found. But as you note these things keep getting better. We're keeping our specific plans close to our chest.

Thanks!
Walter
