Does anyone have any report concerning how well the Navworx ADS600-EXP interfaces with the iFly? I'm considering the Navworx and looking for any feedback.

Thanks, Bob

Hi Bob,

I've actually got an ADS600-EXP in the office I'm testing. Seems to work very well and the "TransmonSPD" module will listen to your Squawk and auto change it. I know we will be adding the option to set the N-number and ICAO code in the near future.

Please let me know if you have any specific questions regarding the NavWorx, as they will be offered on our website in the very near future. Give me a call at 888-200-5129 and ask for Shane, I'd be happy to answer any questions.

Thanks Shane

That helps a lot. I think I'm going to wait till you get it in the store and go from there.

Bob,

Sounds good. It won't be long, I'm working on the items and final details now. We also have an extra bit of UI development coming too.

Sounds encouraging.

How about the Navworx 600-b I think, for certified AC ?

It requires an externally mounted GPS antennae, but no GPS signal transmitted to the display device, which in my case is a mini iPad.

I have the Skyradar which gives wifi GPS and weather to the iPad, very nicely.

If I used the Navworx unit for "out" only, and the Skyradar for GPS and weather, I'd only miss the traffic "in" and comply with 2005 mandate?
