You can remove the waypoints that are being bypassed from your flight plan. Do this by holding your finger next to a waypoint until the context menu pops, then select "Remove Waypoint". Or you can do it on the Flight Planning form by touching "Opt" next to the waypoint, and then "Remove..."

On the feature list is the ability to designate a target waypoint, not sure if this will make the 4.0 cut - we're down to the wire on that code and that feature isn't done yet. If it doesn't make 4.0, will be in the next release - end of year timeframe.

Thanks!
Walter

Actually, I did this during my flight (removed the old waypoints) but there was no route from my current location to the next waypoint. Or am I misunderstanding your workaround?

It looks like the only way I could modify it fast enough during my flight is to rubber band the route to the current location of the plane.

You understood me correctly. You don't really need a route line from your plane's position - the turn/bearing instruments will still track a straight line to your next active waypoint - no matter where you are. Also the heading tape instrument will track to the next waypoint.

You can also just touch and drag your course line to your current position (Airplane) and allow it to modify the flight plan. It adds a way-point at you current position. This bend feature is awesome, I use it all the time.
