740b Tablet De-selecting maps

After reviewing the IFLYGPS User Manual and the 740b User Manual, I can not seem to determine how to de-select some of the maps. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Turn on your 740B Connect to the internet. Select "update". Uncheck anything you don't want to update. Select download updates. It's really very intuitive.

You can also pop out the SD card and move it to a Windows computer, then use iFly Connect there, which also gives you and intuitive user interface to select/deslect maps to get the data you want.

I currently have maps/data for 12 states. All of the maps are up to date. I want to reduce the map count to 4 states. After selecting "Update" on the 740b tablet. I get a long list for Sectional Charts, TAC charts, airport photos, airport diagrams. Some of the states or cities, that I have do not even show up on the list. Do I have to deslect everything?

I think I may have misunderstood your question. I think maybe you aren't using the 740B but you are using the Ifly program on a tablet?

If so, to not load various states, go to check for updates and touch the states you want to download. To select which charts in those states to download, on the same screen, select advanced options. Then select which charts you want in the update.
