IFly won't save flight plans

I'm getting ready to head down to Sun n Fun. After completing a flight plan I found that I could not save it. This morning, all my stored flight plans were gone and I was still unable to save a new one. Runing on a Samsung TAB running Android version T713XXU2BSA1, IFly version 10.3.63. Sent a copy of the bug report but no reply yet.

Suggestion: while you're waiting for this bug to be addressed, try creating a flight plan on another device (Windows PC/tablet, phone) and sync'ing it to your tablet as a way to get around this.

And if you are using an external SD card, Android can sometimes get confused about where it's putting stuff. If you ever reboot your tablet with an SD card in it, give it a good few minutes before running the iFly GPS app - to be sure it remounts the SD card properly.

Sorry for my late reply! Have been going nose-to-grindwheel on the new RealPlan feature.

I checked your log from email, and it contains this line that is culprit:

[Error] : FlightPlan failed to Save(): /storage/9C33-6BBD/Android/data/iFly.GPS/files/iFly/#FlightPlans/KVLD to KLAL.ifp, System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path "/storage/9C33-6BBD/Android/data/iFly.GPS/files/iFly/#FlightPlans/KVLD to KLAL.ifp" is denied.

For some reason, Android is denying iFly access to the Flight Plans folder. Did you recently upgrade your OS? (i.e. some sort of security patch, that changes file access rights?)

You have Android 7.0 - you might try googling that OS for setting application privileges, and see if there is a user setting per application.

I'm sorry about this inconvenience and the bad timing!
