Completely legal with AMOC hooked to a GNS-430 as GPS source.

And just as a comparison, I fired up a stratux pi and hooked it up to the samsung s2/ifly combo and I see good heartbeat performance (once per second) and apparently traffic over my house ... no disconnects, for what it is worth.

We received your ADSB log from the S9, but not your S2.  I emailed you about this just now.  [EDIT:  OOOOPS, I found your S2 Log!]

From the sounds of it though, this drop-out is a "Navworx + AndroidDevice"-specific bug.  Given our current work load, odds are we won't be able to fix this for you.   It seems like the workaround solution is "use a different device", as I don't believe iFly GPS will be able to resolve this via a "patch-release", etc.   Is that a feasible workaround for you?

Appreciate you having a look there.  I spent some more time with different tablets today trying to triangulate it and using some network tools to independently check the UDP traffic.  If I can get it to work on a different tablet, that is the easiest solution and I have no problem with that.  I will keep looking into it and report back.

Nice to know that "it is legal."

I'll put my Navworx on Barnstormers.

Yup they disqualified it because of the GPS source.  GNS-430 can take care of that just fine.  For our airplane, it has always worked well and feeds ifly just fine.  We have traffic back to the 430 just for the fun of it.   We'll replace it when we have to or when and if we significantly update the panel, but for now it does just fine.
