The dots in front of Heartbeat means iFly hasn't received any relevant messages from the Stratux. That'll turn to a check when it gets a good hearbeat message. It sounds like a network setting or firewall blocking the data coming through.

Found it, I didn't realize the power save mode was on.  There is one feature in power save mode called "Background network usage".  It says if this feature is turned off, apps running the background may not receive updates or send you notifications.  I turned this feature on and traffic now works.  I left all the other features in power save mode in effect and noticed that I still got the majority of the savings from the power save mode.  Thanks for mentioning power save mode.
