My Samsung Note 8 will connect to the Stratux wi-fi just fine, but all I get in the Setup Menu under ADS/B is (waiting).  The Stratux works fine with my Samsung S2 tablet.  Can someone tell me why I can't get the Stratux to work with the Note 8?

Does someone know if there is a limit to how many devices you can connect to the Statux at one time?  My Note 8 won't connect even if it is the only device connected.

make sure power save mode is off

I don't get what my signature is supposed to mean, I'm not famous, I'm not a star and we certainly aren't married.

I've had 15 devices connected to 1 Stratux before, so I doubt you're running into a device limit. Check your Selected Device is set to AUTO DETECT (Menu -> Setup -> ADS-B -> Options -> Change Selected Device). Also make sure that Samsung doesn't have something like Smart Network Switch that's switching off of the Stratux's wifi when it notices there's no internet.

I have the auto-detect set under wireless device options.  When I sign on using my Note 8 I get a message if I want to stay connected since there is no internet.  The choices are dismiss and go to wi-fi settings.  I clicked on dismiss which says to connect even though there is no internet.  Clicking on wi-fi settings just takes you back to the previous screen.  And power save mode is off.

Another thing I would like to add is that when I use "Stratux Manager" on my Note 8, it operates normally just like it does on my Samsung tablet.  Status shows as connected, and UAT and 1090ES messages continue to count up.  The traffic screen shows aircraft altitudes, speeds and tail numbers.  So clearly, the Stratux is working normally with the Note 8.  Why do I get a "Waiting for Device" and the blue dots in front of "Heartbeat" continue to count 1,2,3 over and over again?
