Boy, I hope I can keep mine from being 'upgraded' to version 5. The iFly app is the most important thing for me on mine.

Google Nexus 7 (2013) Android Development.

So far everything I do on the tablet works great except for the iFly GPS app. It seems no matter what I do, the app freezes between 15 and 20 minutes after start-up. Hoping somebody else will try it.

Please send us a Bug Report (Menu => About => Send Bug Report). I'd like to see that log file.

The OS dot-0 releases typically have a lot more issues than the dot-1's. That's how it was with Apple's iOS 8.1, which fixed a few critical bugs introduced by 8.0. Perhaps the same will happen with Android very soon.

To my knowledge, Android devices do not require you to upgrade to new OS versions, so it should never be "pushed on you".

Yes, iFly GPS is my most important app also! Thought if I reported it here there might be a log file I can pull that could help someone fix the problem.

Hopefully Someone will get the OTA update and report in.

Bill
