Re system upgrades:
At my company we had a table in the accounting department. When our accounting software vendor came out with a major release, a box containing new manuals, quick reference cards, and discs would arrive. This box went under that table, unopened. During the next six months, the inevitable updates, corrections, and patches would arrive and go, again unopened, on top of the box. Only after six months would we check the internet and the user groups to see whether it was safe to open the box. Remember the rules: #1 The best software in the world is the stuff you just bought and have not yet installed. #2 The guys out front are the ones with arrows in their chests.
My guess is that I"ll consider upgrading in February or March of next year. In the mean time, I appreciate you guys' catching all those arrows for me.
