How do I turn off my current position so it is not included in my plan and showing on the magenta flight path line?

It won't show in your flight plan. Just put in the starting airport and all subsequent fixes and destination. I guess it will always show on the map screen unless you and your tablet are sitting on the departure airport. Look at the flight plan for all the relevant information such as time and distances, etc.

Started "direct" to which began at current location, added new departure point and various intermediate waypoints, deleted waypoint for current location, done. Current waypoint remained in plan. Exited application and restarted and waypoint gone. Problem solved! 😀

I usually put in the departure airport and destination. Then, drag the line to any other waypoints to alter the flight as needed.

This would appear to be a software bug, if you removed a waypoint but it came back. I tried to duplicate this behavior here in my office, but for me it worked fine.

I'd like to fix this bug though. If you would do the following for me, it would help me to get this fixed:

1. Restart iFly (do "Menu => Exit Application", then start it up again).
2. Redo your operations above.
3. If the bug happens again, select "Menu => About => Send Bug Report" so that I can see the log.
4. Provide me more explicit detail about the procedure you followed (e.g. how did you remove the current location waypoint? Did you use the Flight Plan "Opts" button, or another means?)

Thanks in advance!
