Must have been operator error 
I have been unable to recreate the sequence of events I described. I have rebooted my nexus several times since for other reasons not associated with the ifly app. I am not a quitter and will keep trying! 
I love my 720 and now the new android app and wouldn't trade them for the world. Thanks for your support and attention to details it is world class. Your team has set a standard of performance that will to be hard to match. Thanks for all you do.
