Sound

I am not getting any sound through the audio out jack on my 2013 Nexus 7 from the iFly app. There are faint button press sounds through the external speakers but no sound through earbuds or when I use an audio patch cord between the tablet and the audio in on my plane's intercom. I like having audio alerts from iFly in-flight and am really missing this capability. Anyone else having this issue?

Alan, I haven't had time yet to analyze this report though, but it is on my short-term task list.

That's good to hear, Brian. Thanks. I reached out to the forum to see if others are experiencing this issue or if it is just me.

Yes, I'd like to hear from other users too.

Since I have a Nexus 2013 in my office, this should be easy to resolve. But on my preliminary test, I plugged in a headset, and I could not even hear the YouTube application. I haven't had time to investigate it further yet.

Button press sounds are nice, but what I really miss are the terrain and obstruction alerts, etc.

There is no issue with the audio out on my tablet. I am able to listen to music, videos or whatever using a headset or earbuds plugged into the audio jack.

Thanks!
