Hey Oldpilot, message me with the price for the mini 3. Sorry to hear it happened but I was thinking about replacing my mini 1

Thanks for your interest Peter. I have ordered a replacement screen and will decide on a price after I get the new screen installed and make sure it works OK. Since it will no longer have the finger print ID home button, I am going to sell it as a used IPad Mini 2. It is also my understanding that the IOS system cannot be updated without the finger print ID button, so it will forever be stuck on 8.4. For these reasons, you may not be interested, but I'll let you know on a price. My Mooney flying buddy also said he might want it. Otherwise, I'll put it on Ebay or keep it for a spare. Thanks.

By the way, it is a cellular device on the Verizon network, but can be used as WIFI only if someone prefers.

Me too. That's one reason I went ahead and ordered the IPad Mini 4. However, that would be a non-issue if someone is only going to use it for IFly GPS. With IOS 9, the Mini 4 will run the new IOS split screen feature. That will not be available on a Mini 3 running IOS 9.

Received my IPad Mini 4 this morning and finally got everything installed and updated. I had to load the stock version of IFly GPS from the App Store until Brian gets my new IPad added to the IOS beta testing list.
