Hi Oldpilot,

so this lowers the Ipad right? I see the velcro on the longer arm, the opposite velcro is on the dashboard?

Peter, the 6 inch arm is basically horizontal and rest on the glare shield. I covered it in Velcro to cushion it from vibration. The new short arm lowers the IPad a few inches. I am flying with the new short arm for the first time today. I'll try to remember to get a picture of it mounted. If I decide I want it even lower, there is a 3 inch arm available I will order to replace the 2 inch arm.

The 2 3/8 inch arm extension works perfectly. It lowers the IPad Mini enough without interfering with the stoke. I thought I took a couple pictures for you, but when I got home, they were not on my phone. Not sure where I went wrong.

Bummer. I just broke my screen again on my almost new IPad Mini 3. I wanted to replace the home button and broke the screen while taking it apart for the second time. I ordered a new IPad Mini 4 which will arrive Tuesday. I'm going to replace the broken screen (again) and sell the IPad Mini 3 on Ebay.
