Thinking seriously about purchasing a 740b but had a few questions.

Can the 740b be operated in vertical orientation?

Can the 740b do split screen with a efis like panel and a nav panel like the android version can?

Does the 740b generate AHRS data or does it simulate it somehow?

Thanks,

Sean

Yes, the 740b can be run in either horizontal ("landscape") or vertical ("portrait") orientation.

Yes, the 740b can support the split-screen EFIS function like the Android version can.

The 740b does not have an internal AHRS.  It uses data provided by an external AHRS device.  I use a Stratux with an AHRS module in my aircraft.

Just a minor point of information.  The Stratux is a full ADS-B IN device.  It is not an ADS-B OUT device.
