Stratux is always an ADSB-In device.  The AHRS function is optional.

So the Stratux provides everything your iFly mobile devices need, but your 740 with its own GPS just gets ADS-B-IN, and AHRS from Stratux?

The 740 is SO much more than “simply a moving map”. You flight plan with it, pull up the AFD for any airport, find fuel prices enroute, drive your autopilot with it, file flight plans, etc. , etc. An upcoming revision will even plan your flight for the parameters you choose.

I've used the 700 series devices since 2011, but also use an iPad for planning ahead, which I then transfer to the 740 once I prep the plane for a flight. I also make changes to my flight plan enroute on the iPad, which is then sent to my 740. Since the 740 is driving my autopilot, the changes made are seamless.
