John, was it truly "plug n play" from your Navworx EXP cable, and, have you tried getting the FAA report? ------ My boxes are on order from Dallas.

Hook up was so simple I told them to forget the Navworx harness since it wouldn't be available for weeks.

There are 6 pin plugs on the Echo and the GPS unit. pins 1 and 2 are the power pins. I wired them together from each unit and connected to the A/C power line that used to power the Navworx. 

Pins 3.4 and 5 are not used in my set up. Pin 6 on the GPD (SKYFYX) is wired directly to pin 6 on the ECHO.

Took one hour to install.

Havent don't the FAA test yet although I did it with the Navworx and it passed so I don't know how accurate it is.

I found that Uavionix actually made thgese units for unmanned aircraft and drones. 

So small and so light.

I'm glad to have the 1090 frequency so I can see the actual position of airliners on descent to local airports. With the navworx the airliner position was 15 seconds off.

Navworx would show it approaching when it was actually directly overhead or underneath my aircraft.

To answer your question...yes with the Navworx harness it is supposed to be plug and play. Can't confirm since I did my own simple hook up.

Answers to ADS -B questions:

1) Yes

2) Inflight test does not differ

3) When you do the in flight test you have to have your A/C ID turned on. IFLY doesn't tell the brand of aircraft, but many do and I'm sure what FAA uses would. Or it could be looked up.

Sent an e-mail asking when a version would be available for aircraft on a normal C of A.  A deathly silence ensued, not a very good omen regarding response if anyone has a problem with the product.

I have no idea what that sentence means.  Sent an email to who?  A version of what?  What's a C of A?

But if you sent your email to Navworx, no one from the company has been heard from since they announced they were ceasing operations back in October, so I wouldn't expect any email reply.
