I'm considering purchasing the ilevil 3 AW and take advantage of its pitot and static inputs. I'd love to display that info on my tablets....iOS or Android. Or, display it on the 740b I'm about an inch away from purchasing as well.

Are there any plans on making this an option on the iFly platform? Would be a great backup solution instead of keeping round gauges on the panel.

Hi Texas, there is a good intent to support these features in a future release.  But I cannot provide a specific guarantee or a date for such a feature.

Thanks!
Walter

Hello, I am a new iFly GPS user.

Wondering if this was ever implemented or if there is still a chance to display pitot/static air data vs gps?

Thank you.

Yes, it has to be done via the Levil BOM or Levil 3

Beardog,

I have one of the iLevil3 AW devices and am extremenly happy with it.  Take a look at their documentation because they have a free WIFI "utility app" that can provide flight and engine information. According to the documentation, the iLevil3 device will accept input from an engine monitor (such as Grand Rapids Techology) and display it to their app.

I am in the midst of attaching (hard wired) the 3AW device to my Trio auto pilot.  My plan then is to feed the flight plan from IFLYGPS on my iPad, to the 3AW (via WIFI) and then the 3AW driving the auto pilot.

Hope this helps.

Steve
