I have successfully connected the IFLYGPS app (running on my iPad) to an iLevil 3AW (via WIFI) which is hardwired to a Trio EZ Pilot (autopilot).  There was a "connectivity" issue between the iPad and the iLevil device.   I did a lot of troubleshooting and exchanging emails with the folks at iLevil Aviation.  They responded to my emails promptly, providing other suggestions to "rule in/rule out" possible issues.   Came to the conclusion that there was some connectivity issue and I needed their "hands on" help for resolution.  So I sent both the iLevil 3AW and EZ Pilot to then to assist in diagnosing the issue.  They got the two devices talking to each other, in a day or so.  I had them back here in about a week.

After re-installing the devices in my plane, they seem to work correctly on the ground.  Now just waiting for a warmer day to go do a flight test.

In the IFLYGPS app, the NMEA sentences to use are GPRMB and GPGGA.  They can be configured in the Setup Menu.
Menu>Setup>NMEA Output.

In the Levil Aviation AHRS utility app
Device Configuration>
- Configurable Options should be set to GDL90
- Serial Ports -- I am using Aux0 Port, Pin #11 (transmit), 9600 baudrate,  "Auto Pilot" setting

In the Trio Ez Pilot, I am using pin number 7 (Data signal)

Levil Aviation really helped.

Steve
