All the manual shows is a drawing of the plug and calls it r-cam.

Exactly what is the spec for the type remote video camera & cable that will work with my new I-Fly GPS?

I'm driving a Bellanca Super Viking and want to stick a couple of remote video cameras down where I can switch to video and confirm Gear Down.

I've been doing this with a few automotive back up cameras, but thought the I-Fly would be a neater solution.

David,

It's an analog feed...I'm not sure what specs you are looking for other than the plug configuration. But if you want we have some cameras that have a plug which works with the iFly. After we received them from our supplier I decided not to put them on our store for various reasons. But they are good cameras, I'm happy to sell to you near cost just to unload them. Call and ask for Shane to place this order (888-200-5129).

Walter, I'm interested in this. Do you happen to have any of those cameras left?
Thanks,
Rod

A couple of months ago I bought one of the cameras from you good folks that was supposed to be a plug-n-play camera. Its the camera in a silver metal case with a 45 degree offset mounting bolt. Can not get it to work.

I plugged the camera into the IFLY720 AV IN port. Seemed to click into place. I powered up the camera with 12vdc. The IFly 720 did bring up the screen with the taxi markings .... but no video.

Are the cameras you have available different from the one I bought from you previously? If they are the same ... what is the trick to get this to work. I drive a Pietenpol and this camera would be perfect for taxing....would eliminate the need for S-turns down the taxiway.

BTW....IFly 720 is the best Aviation GPS I have ever used.
