If I understand correctly, because my iPad and my 740 , each having the most current software, have synthetic visiion.
But I am missing something, I don’t see how to access that mode.

Hmmmm.
I have version 10.1.25 ...believe it's latest version on my iPad.
I see under Map mode....... VFR, Vector, Instruments. Don't see any 3D EFIS.

(Don't have my 740 here at home, so haven't looked there yet.)
Like you, I see IFR Low, IFR High, but they are grayed out (presumably because I do not subscribe to IFR.) But no 3D EFIS.
Could this mean subscriber with only a VFR iFly subscription don't get virtual vision?
