I tried to search for this on discussions first.  What do you think about an instrument that states the "zoom level" you are currently at?  Sure would help close to airports especially.

It's not a big issue but can only help the Great Product it is.

If you look up where the heading tape is, the zoom level appears for a short amount of time each time you press the + or - button.  Doesn't stay more than a second or so, gotta look quick.

Thanks for the reply, I do look at that however, there are times when fingers bump small screens in the wrong places and I've found that I've been at the wrong level.  You can't really tell differences when over low density areas in Vector mode's plain screen.

I don't see what knowing the zoom level would do for us.  If it's not big enough, click to make it bigger.  If it's too big, click to make it smaller.

Garmin and Lowrance have had visable map scale for years and proved it's worth when avoiding or understanding over correction to flying grid lines 800ft apart.
