I have a whole bunch of yoke mounts from various things, and including one for a clipboard I don't use much. A finagled with the various pieces parts, looking ot end up with the one relatively flat piece sticking out (I think it was from a really old Garmin) that could have a patch of Velcro stuck to it. Then a corresponding patch of velcro on the back of the gps and there you have it, a yoke mounted Ifly. Hook and loop..... what a genius invention....And you only need a couple two three square inches to make it stable enough to stay in place.

What a coincidence. I did the same thing with my old Lowarance 500 ram yoke mount before seeing your post. I haven't taken it up in the plane yet though. I wonder if any issues arise with the electrical tape if the mount is left in the plane exposed to the summer heat. I'd be interested in getting your feedback on that.

I just purchased the following RAM yoke mount parts and with minimal modification it works flawlessly in my Warrior. The only mod I made was to grind down the the back side of the screw base to flat (it had part of the screw head protruding). This is the side that makes contact with the back of the iFly.

ORD QTY UM PART ID DESCRIPTION

1.00 EA RAM-B-121BU UNPKGD RAM CLAMP FOR YOKE MOUNTING

1.00 EA RAM-B-201U-A UNPKG RAM DBL SOCKET ARM B BALL A LENGTH

1.00 EA RAP-B-375U UNPKD RAM SCREW ON BASE FOR FLAT PANELS

The RAP-B-375U has a hard rubber ball.
