Runway diagram from Bloomsburg, PA (N13) -- nice to know where TURN AROUND circles are on many of these smaller aerodromes! Very helpful when flying in groups!

Good use of the "actual view" of taxiways, especially at OLDER aerodromes where the use of previous runways, roads, and older taxiways are used and the route is not always obvious!

Here is Cumberland Regional in West Virginia - an older field with a hodge-podge of such hard surfaces...

THANKS iFLY!

Wow, Mike, Where'd that skinny paved runway come from!

By the way, I think you meant to type MD instead of WV--although KCBE couldn't get much closer to WV than it already is.

The airport is actually in Wiley Ford, West (By God) Virginia, Don!

It can be confusing on the chart, road map or just by looking at the unusual topography, but rest assured that is WEST VIRGINIA.

165 Terminal Loop

Wiley Ford, West Virginia 26767

This would be a great X-C for you one day...very scenic mountains, rivers and foliage!

Just below KCBE is an another airport in Maryland called Mexico Farms which is one of the oldest in the USA.  I really like both of them!

Let's go!

Ha!  By gawd, yer right, Mike. Here's the evidence: https://www.google.com/maps/place/Gre...7!4d-78.7656149

But I'm not alone in my mistake. I got the "MD" part from iFly!

Now, of course, I see that Cumberland is in MD, but the airport is in WV.

But Mexico Farms--it's so close to CBE that I couldn't find it!

That area is a nice x-c from Richmond. My favorite overnight stop to and from the Midwest is not far from there: Fairmont WV, 4G7. It has a shiny retro diner, a motel, and a car gas station almost on the runway. (I always buy a little 100LL to support the FBO, as it's only about 8 or 9 Searey gallons from home.)
