Attaching the external battery to back of iFly
Are you looking for an easy, reversible means to attach your external battery to the back of your iFly? This can greatly reduce the clutter of wires scattered around the cockpit.
I tried the adhesive backed version of Velcro tape but it quickly came loose at the worst possible time.
I "borrowed" some of my wife's 3M "Command" brand "picture hanging strips" and they seem to be working VERY well. Each one is supposed to hold 3 pounds and I used 2 at right angles to one another to minimize flexing. You can pull on the tabs to easily remove the the strips and I have seen no left-over residue. (I am NOT a 3M employee or stock holder)
I have attached 3 photos of how I used 2 strips. I'm sure that a third strip would be even more rigid, but my wife only had 2 strips in her photo framing supply drawer!

PS - 3M's Model # for these strips is 17201-4pk. Check them out at "www.command.com"

Makes me want to slap my head and say, "why didn't I think of that?". Thanks for taking the time to share.
