That is goodnews, thank you for the update.
I don't want to blow this more minor METAR detail out of proportion, but accurate (rock solid bullet proof) weather presentation is paramount.
No kidding, I continue to catch one of iFly competitor's not displaying accurate weather (specifically NEXRAD overlay) correctly. Fortunately I was using a second app (not iFly. Sorry iFly doesn't make it to my runner up tool box just yet, but if it continues progressing like the last 18 months, it holds the most promising for jumping to number 1). Note: I pay for a few apps, just so I can have a cross reference for weather presentation sanity.
However this minor METAR problem has now raised the alarm bell for me with iFly and what other small detail of a more significant weather consequence could be presented wrong to me.
I understand the use at your ownrisk disclaimer, but I can not put enough emphasis on how ubiquitous these tools have become in the cockpit for inflight weather decisions.
We need to be able to trust what is being presented.
