I would like information on the new feature to "import GPX flight plans from 3rd party applications".

I checked the latest manual and the forum, but was not able to locate any specifics such as details on the capability nor the steps to accomplish this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Richard

Richard, nice catch - we'll get that added to the manual.

The process is simple, presuming you have a flight planning utility that can export a GPX file:

  1. Save a GPX flight plan to a USB stick
  2. Put the stick in the iFly, touch the "Flight Plan" button
  3. Touch the "Load" button. The GPX files from your USB stick will be listed in this dialog (along with your iFly created flight plans), select your desired GPX file and touch "Load".
  4. If you wish to save the plan permanently to your iFly, just touch the "Save As" button and give the plan a name.

Thanks!
Walter
