Here is another way of mounting the 720 in an RV-6 with a sliding canopy using the included suction cup mounting hardware. The suction cup is a little too big to attach to the horizontal triangular area just aft of the instrument panel. Fixed that by using industrial strength Velcro to attach a wider piece of acrylic to the area. It works fine so far. A RAM mount would work there with no Velcro.
