I like what you've done with what you have.
Just an FYI though. I flew to KCCR from KDVT last week with a return the next day. Only six hours total on the way to KCCR and seven hours on the return with three of those hours flying in the dark.
I found having the 700 in front of the compass caused me to have a sore neck by looking through the lower lens of my bi-focals glasses. Now I'll have to find another spot to place the 700.
The other problem was even in night mode, the 700 was still too bright. I eventually turned it away. I then found I enjoyed seeing meteorites streaking overhead.
