I am all for an automotive mode. I need a large screen display for use in my motorhome.

Forget the car -- Leave the I Fly as is for Aviation use.

George,

This will be an optional feature for those that need it. We're using a 3rd party street map solution, it will not affect the flying interface in any way.

Thanks,
Walter

I will either need to buy another iFLY or fight with my wife. The HP iPAQ I used before iFLY had TomTom on it. She was always wanting to put into the car. It si sthere now, retired by iFLY, but not updateable with a 2004 database. She would be eyeing my iFLY too much for my liking. The size does make it a much better alternate to what can be purchased, so maybe a second one for her Christmas present and a backup for me?

Automotive mode would be nice, but not a must have. Position on a road map (but not constrained to roads as in automotive mode) would also be nice.
