Linux Version.

Maybe iFly will decide that they should port their product to Linux.  Maybe it's a trivial thing to do.  But if it's not, here's some "facts" per Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usage_sh...erating_systems):

Windows is still the dominant desktop OS, but the dominance varies by region and it has gradually lost market share to other desktop operating systems (not just to mobile) with the slide very noticeable in the US, where macOS usage has more than tripled from 2009 to 2017, with Windows down to 72.76% and Chrome OS at 3.33%, plus traditional Linux at 1.46%.[58]

[In the same Wikipedia article, there's a table that shows for smartphone & tablets, Android has 73.19% market share, iOS has 24.26%, Windows has 0.36%, and "Other" (which would include Linux) is 2.19%.]

I'm sure the developers are not going to look at this measly post of mine to decide whether the benefit justifies the effort.  Surely they have their own feel for their target audience.  But if they're looking at cost (development time and future maintenance time) vs benefit (probable number of users that would use such a version), then it would seem that the numbers are not in your favor.

Yeah, I'm not seeing the cost/benefit being favorable in porting to Linux.  iFly's designed for use in the cockpit.  What device do you have in mind that's Linux-based that would be appropriate for cockpit use?  And why would that device be better than an Android, iPad, or Win10 device that iFly already supports?

I'd like a Linux port of iFlyConnect to update the SD card. We travel with an old laptop running Ubuntu or Mint Linux, and being able to update the card in the motel would be very handy.
