Easier GPX Import for flight plans

Hi,

It would be nice to have the ability to either open a gpx file with ifly and have it auto import into a flight plan , or allow for a flight plan to be imported via a file select box. The current method of dropping it into a directory works, but isn't exactly user friendly.

Of course, a published method of importing flight plans via some type of API call would be even nicer for those planning with skyvector, or the AOPA flight planner.

We're looking at a standard method to receive flightplans from the various online flight planners like SkyVector and AOPA. Expect to see this in an upcoming release.

Dave,

-Just a friendly follow-up to the efforts of linking SkyVector up to IFly...going back 6 months, looks like this was an idea that had merit.

-Many of us flight plan on desk-tops using SkyVector -- would be a really nice strategic partnership to be able to send flight plans from SkyVector to our IFly devices and Apps.

-I know you folks are very busy -- and this is NOT a knock - just a friendly follow-up. It would make IFly an even better value than it already is now.

-I enjoy IFly very much and just signed-up for another year of VFR+IFR.

-Thank you and keep up the great work.

Just curious about the flight plan import capability....maybe I got distracted and missed it, but thought I'd ask...keep up the great work and cheers!
