520 update

Love to see the 520 updated to have WiFi, That would allow it to be used with the Stratus 3 for ADS-B in.

I wouldn't hold my breath. For that to happen, it would seem the 520 would need to have some hardware added to the device (I don't imagine there's WiFi hardware in the device that has been simply disabled), which would mean you'd have to purchase the new "iFly 550". You might be just as well of to buy a new (or rebuilt) 740 or 740b.

I'm not up on all computer possibilities, but I wonder if there is a device like what they had for laptops years ago when WiFi first came out, that would connect to the 520 Via USB, and the Stratus 3 via WiFi.

Another idea would be to look around for a Stratus 1beta that iFly says will connect to the 540 and 700 via USB.
