Can you adjust the zoom levels on the approach plates? Now, the first level puts the whole plate on about a third of the screen, too small to use. The next level is too big to see the plan view, the profile view and the minimums without panning. Suggest the first level show the whole plate filling the page, the second level show from the top of the plan view to the bottom of the minimums block vertically, the third level show just the plan view and the fourth level about where it is now. I realize plates vary somewhat in their layout but setting the zoom levels as desribed for a nominal plate would help a lot.

I fly mostly IFR and am considering the iFly as primarily an approach plate/chart reader with a back-up nav capability. Right now, the zoom levels on the plates aren't really helpful for reading the plates.

You guys are going to love Version 6: We've done away with the Plate Viewer form - now you view the plate as if it were a map; you have 10 levels of zoom, and the image is rendered much more readable when zoomed out. If it's one of the georeferenced plates you will also see your airplane and flight plan on the map.

Walter,
Will the approach plate (map) also move while flying Track Up and geo-referenced just like the sectional?

Yes, just like other maps you can toggle between north/track up.
