I have attempted to want fly all the time with the NRST pop up on all the time but it eventually will start pointing to every airport as behind me. Clearly it is a snap shot of select airports at the time the button was touched.

I wish the select list of airports was continuously updated so one could fly with this continuously up.

To me it would be very very helpful for many reasons.
